LA four-piece, Warpaint’s sophomore album follows up their critically acclaimed debut "The Fool” released in 2010. “Warpaint" was co-produced by Warpaint and Flood and mixed by Flood and Nigel Godrich. It's a groove heavy return with standouts like 'Keep it Healthy' that has a touch of Radiohead's 'In Rainbows', 'Love to Die' which is a spooky bass led cut and 'Disco//very' which is prime ESG.
A well-oiled machine, Warpaint weave intricate guitar lines, hypnotic vocals and driving post punk rhythms into gorgeous, sprawling songs that skirt the line between psychedelia and intimacy. Both live and on record, Warpaint sound like they're channeling something truly otherworldly, and mystical. They are also a band that truly enjoys playing together. Emily and Theresa have been friends since they were kids, and the bond that the four of them have is truly special.
Pressed on Classic Black Vinyl. Sides A through C are pressed with music, the fourth side contains an artistic press.
