Goodbye Bread is the fourth album by San Francisco garage rock singer-songwriter Ty Segall. Considered to be one of the best albums released in 2011, this indie rock album is sure to warm your heart.

This album presents itself with a much more melodic, sappy energy relative to Segall’s previous rock-oriented releases. Goodbye Bread showcases Segall mellowing out and experimenting with softer sounds, yet the use of distortions effects such as fuzz and overdrive do still make an appearance throughout the 30-minute run time.

Lyrically, the album focuses on themes of heartbreak, relationship woes, and the concept of love.
