In the Toy Story films, Buzz Lightyear is introduced to Jessie—a cowgirl doll part of Sheriff Woody’s Roundup Gang—when she becomes one of Andy’s newest toys. Lovestruck by her joyous energy, Buzz secretly develops a crush on her—affections she soon returns. After a near-death experience helps them truly realize their feelings for each other, the two finally seal their relationship during the credits of Toy Story 3.

When Jessie plays “Hay Un Amigo En Mi”—the Spanish version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”—on Andy’s radio, Buzz’s Spanish Mode reacts by dancing, pulling her in for a romantic dip. Buzz is embarrassed by the autonomous reaction at first, but when Jessie encourages him to go with the flow, he fully embraces dancing an exciting paso doble with her in front of the other toys.
