Tom Waits’ third studio album Nighthawks at the Diner is a live recording from the Record Plant Recording Studio in Los Angeles in 1975 that transports you directly into a smokey jazz-club atmosphere while Waits regales you with musings about the weather, the lived experience of being a bachelor, and late nights on the road.

With a crack jazz ensemble backing him up and some of the greatest stage patter ever committed to record, this is an experience not to be missed. Reprinted on 180g Yellow Marble Vinyl in celebration of the album’s 50th Anniversary, there’s no better time to pick this up for your collection!
