At last available on vinyl for the very first time, this historic recording captures the first show by the three original Saints, Ed Kuepper, Chris Bailey, and Ivor Hay, in almost thirty years. Presented here in its entirety with a new mix, the Pig City Brisbane 2007 performance is an essential document of one of Australian rock's most significant reunions.

As Robert Forster of The Go-Betweens described it, the set is a dream run through the band's early catalogue, moving between the driving ballads of Prehistoric Sounds and the short, sharp classics from the first two albums. Backed by a brass section that adds muscle and swagger to the proceedings, the band delivered a performance that, in the words of Noel Mengel, nailed your head to the back wall. This was no nostalgia show; it was a band playing at the absolute peak of their powers.

Formed in Brisbane in 1973, The Saints are one of the most influential bands in Australian rock history, widely regarded as pioneers of the global punk movement alongside the likes of the Ramones and the Sex Pistols.
