From the moment fans first set eyes on the ghost that walks in his 1936 comic debut, they were captivated by the mysterious costumed crime-fighter. Unlike other superheroes, the Phantom relies entirely on his own natural strength, intelligence and enigmatic immortality. The iconic hero is often credited as the first costumed superhero, being the first to feature white, pupil-less eyes behind their mask.
During the comic's early years, the colour of The Phantom's suit widely varied. The purple suit, which has now become the norm, has been seen ever since the comic started being published in colour in 1939. Lee Falk, the creator of The Phantom, orignally envisioned the suit as gray, but over time changed the suit to purple.
The breathtaking 1/6th scale piece captures every detail of the unforgettable Phantom in the midst of a battle with an unknown enemy. However, sometimes items do become damaged in transit or there is some sort of manufacturing issue thereby making the goods unfit for their intended purpose. Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
