Celebrated for their minimal bass and drums sound, Chloe Alison Escott's haunting lyrics add complexity. Despite facing challenges in 2020, including lockdowns and personal struggles, the duo persisted. Julian Teakle continued creating demos, while Chloe revisited raw lyrics.

Recorded with producer Ben von Fürstenberg, the album takes a meticulous approach to their intense songs, exploring personal traumas and post-punk history. Titled from Pere Ubu's David Thomas, it's a triumphant reflection of resilience and artistic growth, embodying everything The Native Cats aspired to achieve.
