It’s without a doubt that electronic music plays a huge part in the Matrix sound and nostalgia. This album takes an already incredible soundtrack and dissects it to create a louder sound. Director Lana Wachowski lives in Berlin and is connected to many DJs and producers deeply involved with the underground electronic music scene, even having connections to the well-known Berlin nightclub Berghain. These connections and inspirations organically evolved from a remix idea into this marvellous remix album.
