The Coronas - Live At The Olympia LP Vinyl Record

Live At The Olympia is the first live album by Irish indie rock band The Coronas. It was recorded at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin in late 2019 and released on January 3, 2020.

Said to be Irelands best kept secret, The Coronas were formed in 2007 and have released seven studio albums to date. It is evident from this glorious live recording including an arrangement of their back catalogue, just how loyally devoted their fans are. As the crowd sings along, there is a devoted energy full of love and admiration glowing through the sound.

Vocally, front man Danny O’Rielly performs with a comforting, mature and emotional strength. He seems to sing at the listener as an individual, connecting the lyrics to the feeling contained within and avoiding getting lost on stage. The acoustic guitar sits front and centre, flanked by an upright piano but there is nothing subdued about the performance. All members contribute equally, creating a well rounded, full and professional output full of energy and engagement.
