Turn up the chaos with Season Of The Peach, the brand-new album from Atlanta’s garage rock misfits The Black Lips. Pressed on Cream Coloured Vinyl, this 14-track odyssey sees the band fusing their raw, unpredictable energy with bold new songwriting directions, delivering a record that’s equal parts swagger, satire, and scorched-earth Americana.

Formed in 1999, The Black Lips are a garage punk institution known for their wild live shows, ragged 60s-inspired sound, and unapologetic antics. Built around founding members Cole Alexander and Jared Swilley, the band has spent over two decades redefining garage rock with elements of punk, country, psych, and rockabilly. Their style has earned them comparisons to The Sonics, The Seeds, and King Khan & The Shrines, while cementing their reputation as one of the most unpredictable and enduring bands in modern rock.

Season Of The Peach was recorded straight to analogue tape at drummer Oakley Munson’s Sound At Manor studio in the Catskills, capturing the spontaneity and grit of a live Black Lips show. From the cinematic opener The Illusion Pt. 1 through the Morricone-tinged Wild One, the 60s girl-group homage Tippy Tongue, and the spiraling guitars of Kassandra, this record is a hallucinatory road trip through the underbelly of America. With its closing track The Illusion Pt. 2, the band ties the journey together in a haze of hope, defiance, and resignation.
