This expanded edition includes a second disc packed with B-sides and rarities, plus unearthed photos and fresh liner notes from Jared Swilley and King Khan. It’s the ultimate celebration of a modern garage rock classic.

Originally released in 2007 and recorded in a converted house studio called The Living Room, Good Bad Not Evil captures the lawless spirit of mid-00s DIY punk with grimy hooks, scuzzy charm, and reckless energy. From the anthemic “O Katrina!” to the gloriously unhinged “Bad Kids,” this record soundtracked warehouse parties, generator shows, and chaotic house gigs across the globe.

The Black Lips formed in 1999 and quickly gained notoriety for their unfiltered garage rock sound and wild, unpredictable live shows. Fusing elements of rockabilly, punk, and psychedelic fuzz, they’ve toured six continents and built a global cult following. Their chaotic ethos, complete with saxophones and stage antics, remains unmatched in the modern rock scene.
