The Beatles - Something New (US Album) LP Vinyl Record (2024 Mono Reissue)

In 1964, The Beatles made their historic U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show, captivating 73 million viewers and sparking Beatlemania across America. This led to their record-breaking tour and a run of five groundbreaking albums that year. Capitol Records, behind the U.S. releases, altered track lists and mixes, creating unique versions for the American market. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this pivotal year, these original U.S. albums are being reissued on vinyl for the first time since the 1980s, using the original master tapes and Capitol's vintage lathe.

Something New is The Beatles' third U.S. album, released by Capitol Records in 1964 during the height of Beatlemania. The album features tracks from the UK release A Hard Day’s Night, along with exclusive songs like "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand" (a German version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand"). Showcasing The Beatles’ signature mix of rock and pop, it includes hits like "I'll Cry Instead" and "And I Love Her." Something New captures the band's evolving sound and continued dominance in the American music scene during their groundbreaking year.
