A new Crusade is about to begin, will you fight with the Templar Knight or stand in his way?
Not long after the First Crusade, a new order was born to protect pilgrims on their way across Europe to the Holy Land. This order was known as the Poor Knights of the Temple of King Solomon, but became better known as the Knights Templar. These Templar Knights fought with a fierce determination and unwavering bravery in their holy quest, following strict doctrines and codes in how they lived and died, swearing to a life of poverty, chastity and obedience in their sacred duty to uphold the values of the Catholic Church.
The Knights Templar wore simple white robes over their chainmail, emblazoned with the flaming red cross to strike fear into their enemies as they saw them approach the battlefield, where they were unmatched and fought defiantly until the last man. Although they swore to a life of poverty, the Templars gathered massive amounts of wealth on their campaigns, which they would use to help others. Unfortunately, their generosity was seen as a tactic to gain power over the people, and soon the Templar Knights were betrayed by the very people they were sworn to protect.
Imprisoned, tortured and killed in the thousands, the Templar Knights were thought to have vanished 700 years ago, but the fire still burns in the hearts of these holy warriors, and not even death will prevent them from succeeding in their quest.
At a daunting 22.5” tall to the tip of this sword, this fear-inducing 1/6th scale statue captures the brave Templar Knight as he fearlessly charges into the fray to protect his keep from the enemy. The highly detailed resin statue has been digitally sculpted with expert attention to the armour, finely crafted with individual chain links and adorned with a battle worn habit featuring a intricately textured red cross and blood splatter.
For added display options, the Templar Knight 1/6th Scale Statue comes with three interchangeable heads, including a classic Templar helmet head, an un-helmed head to show the knight’s full ferocity and determination, and of course a head befitting that of a warrior returned to life after 700 years in the grave.
