Christopher Reeve’s legendary portrayal of the Man of Steel has been lovingly captured for this superb Superman Premium Format Statue by Sideshow Collectibles, based on the classic Superman movie from 1978.
Standing approximately 20.5” tall in a classic pose, this carefully crafted statue features the incredible likeness of Christopher Reeve with his striking blue eyes, a confident but humble expression, and the signature kiss curl in his black sculpted hair. Superman stands on a base inspired by the poster for the 1978 film, depicted here as a black circular platform with a raised silver recreation of the hero’s unique shield emblem.
The Superman Premium Format Statue has been expertly made using mixed media, featuring a fully fabric costume that has been carefully tailored to fit his muscular physique to recreate Superman’s onscreen appearance. The Man of Steel is dressed in his iconic blue suit, red trunks, and a flowing red cape with internal wiring for posing. The symbol of the House of El is emblazoned on the chest of his suit, and his cape features a yellow embroidered logo on the back. Superman also has sculpted red boots and a yellow belt accent around the waist, completing his unforgettable look.
