Seven Japanese anime studios have combined their talent and perspective to bring Star Wars: Visions to life, an anthology of short animated films celebrating Star Wars through a unique lens. The Duel, an animated short by studio Kamikaze Douga, captivates audiences with groundbreaking visuals and intense action. Character designs for the animation were overseen by illustrator Takeshi Okazaki, who also worked on the concept for the Artist Series Tusken Raider ArtFX.
A former Sith warrior, the mysterious Ronin wanders the Outer Rim territories with his trusty droid, B5-B6. Encountering a group of bandits attacking a defenceless village on the planet Genbara, the Ronin is thrown back into combat and becomes an unlikely hero for those in need.
Masterfully sculpted in 1/7 scale, the Ronin stands stoically, wielding his scarlet red lightsaber with fierce determination. Each and every detail of the character's design has been intricately replicated, from the prosthetic jaw support and his arsenal of weaponry to the tattered robes that billow around him in a dynamic fashion, giving the piece an incredible sense of movement and life.
