Poggle the Lesser was the Archduke of Geonosis, a key Separatist leader in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, overseeing vast droid factories and a major player in the first Battle of Geonosis, providing the Separatists with their droid army and the plans for the Death Star, before ultimately being killed by Darth Vader on Mustafar alongside other Separatist leaders. He was a prominent, insectoid Geonosian who helped bring his planet into the Confederacy of Independent Systems, serving under Count Dooku and Darth Sidious.
