Pressed on stunning Seabird Blue Coloured Vinyl, this cyclone of rock and roll tips its hat to a particularly potent epoch in Oz rock while squarely facing up to the here and now, hitting an eternally poignant nerve for anyone familiar with that sound, time, and place.

Terrestrials twitches with the desperation of people and planet on the brink, but ultimately bets on the beauty of both to prevail. Stereogum captured its essence perfectly, noting the record carries glam-rock and new wave energy that is too weird and oblique to play as pure pastiche. It is a record that resists easy categorisation and is all the more powerful for it.

Formed in Perth in 2008 and closely associated with the Tame Impala orbit, Pond are an Australian psychedelic rock band known for their revolving lineup, experimental spirit, and eclectic take on psych-pop.
