Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing LP Vinyl Record

"Without You I'm Nothing" is the second studio album by English alternative rock band Placebo. Recorded in mid-to-late 1998, it was released in October that year. Seductively melancholic, this record sidesteps any signs of slump and purposefully perpetuates the comedown, indulging the emotional throes that follow all highs, be they in the heart or the brain.

The album is full of '70s glam rock and punk references. Their rhythm section is impressively tight and frontman Brian Molko offers both his genre bending vocals and impressive guitar skills. Whereas the debut was written solely by Molko, this release is a bona fide group effort, with Molko still showcasing talent through lyricism.
