Captain Hook is an elegant yet vengeful pirate captain of the Jolly Roger, obsessed with getting revenge on Peter Pan for cutting off his hand and feeding it to the croc. Though a formidable foe, he is often thwarted by Peter's abilities, the relentless Tick-Tock the Crocodile (who swallowed Hook's hand and an alarm clock), or his own bumbling first mate, Mr. Smee. He is known for his aristocratic appearance, his sword-fighting skills, and his childish temper tantrums.
