Ninetails is a powerful and malicious nine-tailed kitsune that rules Oni Island and serves as one of the major antagonists in Okami. It wields the Ninestrike glaive, harnesses electricity, and can use advanced Brush Techniques, making it a formidable and unpredictable foe.

The video game statue faithfully captures Ninetails’s striking appearance, from its golden fur to its long tails tipped with brush-like ends dipped in red ink, each adorned with hoods and masks beneath. Its central tail, which houses Ninetails’s true form, is adorned with a necklace of red beads. Its face bears a white mask with red markings - a direct mockery of Amaterasu’s divine appearance. Clenched in its mouth is its signature weapon, the Ninestrike glaive.
