Waxwork Records and Back Lot Music present the complete soundtrack to Obsession, a psychological thriller following a hopeless romantic who gets exactly what he wished for, only to discover that some desires come at a dark and sinister price. The film's unsettling premise is matched perfectly by Rock Burwell's atmospheric, synth-driven score.

Developed in close collaboration with director Curry Barker, the score explores the uncanny valley of emotion, finding the space where warmth curdles into dread and nostalgia tips into estrangement. Hard cuts and confrontational loudness sit alongside claustrophobic textures and disorienting atmosphere, with discomfort always the guiding principle. All twenty-six cues are presented here in full on pearlescent red coloured vinyl, making for a genuinely immersive listening experience.

Rock Burwell makes his debut as a feature film composer with Obsession, crafting a score that draws on atmospheric and electronic production to navigate the film's psychological tension with remarkable confidence for a first outing.
