Originally released in 1989, Mudhoney captured the ragged glory of garage rock and the brooding intensity of punk, blending them into a sound that would define a generation. With raw guitar fuzz, scathing vocals, and pounding rhythms, the album features underground anthems like “This Gift,” “Here Comes Sickness,” “Come To Mind,” and “Dead Love.” It's loud, dirty, chaotic, and undeniably essential.

Formed in Seattle in 1988, Mudhoney emerged as one of Sub Pop’s flagship acts and became a foundational force in the grunge movement. While their peers shot to commercial fame, Mudhoney stayed defiantly raw and underground—earning their place as cult icons and influencers of countless alternative and punk acts to follow.
