Waxwork Records and WaterTower Music present the official soundtrack to the 2021 reboot of one of gaming's most beloved franchises, pressed on striking Scorpion and Sub-Zero Coloured Vinyl across two records. Directed by Simon McQuoid, the film follows washed-up MMA fighter Cole Young as he discovers his hidden lineage and joins a band of chosen warriors defending Earthrealm against Outworld.

Composer Benjamin Wallfisch, a lifelong fan of the original game, began experimenting with the iconic theme's DNA before officially joining the project, ensuring the score blended sweeping orchestral elements with intense modern EDM. The result culminates in Techno Syndrome 2021, a full reinvention of the classic track that honours the original while launching it into a new sonic era, created with the blessing of original composers The Immortals.

Benjamin Wallfisch is an award-winning British composer celebrated for his work on major Hollywood productions including IT, Blade Runner 2049, and Hidden Figures, bringing orchestral ambition and emotional depth to some of cinema's most iconic projects.
