From the very first Holden ATCC Championship claimed by Norm Beechey in his bright yellow HT Monaro GTS 350 in 1970 through to the remarkable 6-lap victory at Bathurst of Peter Brock and co-driver Jim Richards in their A9X Torana in 1979, Holden nameplates - the Monaro, Torona and Commodore - have become legendary for their feats on race tracks around the country.
