Mclusky - The World is Still Here and So Are We LP Vinyl Record (Clear Vinyl)
Mclusky have finally returned with their first new album in two decades, The World is Still Here and So Are We — a title as self-aware and sharp as the band themselves. Originally emerging in the late '90s, the Welsh noise-rock outfit became cult favourites with their jagged riffs, absurdist humour and raw energy before disbanding in 2005. Following a series of benefit shows in 2014, they gradually found their way back to the stage, and now, finally, to the studio.
True to form, the new album is both chaotic and cathartic. It’s packed with sneering wit, aggressive hooks and punk sensibilities that feel as vital in 2025 as they did in 2004. Songs like “Way of the Exploding Dickhead” and “The Digger You Deep” showcase the band’s signature mix of surrealism, satire and noise-laden bite.
Pressed on clear vinyl and housed in a standard jacket with a printed inner sleeve.
