The new album is the continuation of the iconic counterpart Confessions on a Dance Floor. Madonna adds “When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto”: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years, they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect, with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people. Confessions II is Madonna's 15th studio album and its accompanying 14-minute visual short film (directed by TORSO). Serving as an upbeat electronic sequel to her iconic 2005 record Confessions on a Dance Floor, the project reunites her with producer Stuart Price.
