Released in 2012 and celebrating its 10th Anniversary, 2 is the debut full-length studio album by Canadian musician Mac DeMarco.
Featuring slowed-down vocals and elements of glam rock, this recording garnered enough attention that his label, Captured Tracks, agreed to finance a full-length album. Recorded whilst only wearing his skivvies and underwear, DeMarco would go on to create a monumental album that would shift his career path for the greater good.
Within the album 30 minute run time, long-time fans will be met with classic tracks such as My Kind Of Woman, Ode To Viceroy, and Still Together. All of which focus on themes of love, heartbreak, anxiety, and cigarettes.
