Lubricated Goat - Paddock Of Love LP Vinyl Record (2025 Reissue)

Originally released on the Black Eye label in 1988, Paddock Of Love was Lubricated Goat's second LP and the first to feature a more stable lineup including Guy Maddison, Nick Barker, Peter Hartley, and the man driving the engine, Stu Spasm. Around the time of its release, the band performed opening track In The Raw completely nude on Andrew Denton's nationally televised ABC show Blah Blah Blah, causing an uproar in the tabloids and shooting the band into the national consciousness for a glorious few weeks of confected outrage.

Out of circulation for over thirty years, this 2025 reissue brings back a glorious collection of scungey and grungy rock and roll degeneracy in the finest sense of those words. Killer tracks like Funeral On A Spit, Gargoyles, and Cannibal's Lament sound focused, purposeful, and like a real band firing on all cylinders.

Formed in Sydney in 1986 by multi-instrumentalist Stu Spasm, Lubricated Goat are an Australian noise-rock band whose grimy, confrontational sound anticipated the grunge movement by several years.
