Waxwork Records and WaterTower Music mark their second collaboration with director Lee Cronin and composer Stephen McKeon, presenting this deluxe double LP on wide-release Blood and Sand coloured vinyl. Hot off the record-setting resurrection of Evil Dead Rise, Lee Cronin turns to one of horror's most iconic mythologies with a twisted, audacious retelling that follows a broken family reunited with their missing daughter eight years after she vanished into the desert, only for joy to give way to living nightmare.

McKeon's score builds an undead demonic orchestra from the inside out, constructed from strangled breaths, fingernails scraping against the inside of a sarcophagus, and eruptions of uncontrolled rage. These visceral textures are woven against more traditional musical elements, creating a score that worms its way under the skin and stays there long after the film ends. 

Stephen McKeon is an Irish composer celebrated for his bold, unconventional approach to horror scoring, bringing deeply physical and emotionally expressive music to some of the genre's most ambitious recent productions.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
