Laurel & Hardy - Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy on Ford Model J 1/12th Scale Statue
Inspired by images from the classic film Busy Bodies (1933), the Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy on Ford Model J 1/12th Scale Statue by Infinite Statue captures another exciting chapter from the iconic duo Laurel & Hardy.
This time, the two humorous heroes are traveling towards the sawmill, where they will cause all sorts of disasters, and the car will feature as prominently as the two stars. We worked on the original drawings and blueprints of the 1924 Ford Model T Runabout with meticulous care, in order to create a remarkable model, made with the utmost possible perfection. Each tiny detail has been redesigned, while preserving all the special characteristics that the car had in the film, such as the gramophone under the bonnet!
This statue is made with photoetched components, a special colour scheme with vintage effects, PVC wheels, and two opening parts: the bonnet that opens on the side containing the gramophone, and the rear luggage compartment, revealing the suitcase containing tools placed there by Stan.
