Dissimulation is UK rapper KSI's assertive solo debut LP. Initially gaining fame as a YouTuber hailing from Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, Olajide Olatunji is best known for his 2019 boxing victory over Logan Paul. Since 2015, he's pursued a music career alongside his YouTube channel, amassing 21.3 million subscribers and a social media following of 50 million.

While KSI's earlier releases established his grime-adjacent roots, Dissimulation features notable collaborations with prominent US hip-hop artists. The album leans heavily into US trap-pop themes, including topics like drugs, wealth, objectification, and ad-libs. KSI manages to hold his own alongside Lil Pump (on "Poppin") and Offset (on "Cap"), despite maintaining his British sound. Some tracks also offer glimpses into the persona behind the online presence.
