Kasbo ‎- The Making Of A Paracosm 2xLP Vinyl Record (White Vinyl)

The Making Of A Paracosm is the second studio album released by Swedish electronic record producer and DJ Kasbo. It was released on October 23, 2020.

A spirited insight into the artists own soul, this album provides a nostalgic journey for the listener which lends to his legacy. “Paracosm” means a detailed imaginary world, being an alternate reality, beyond this universe and a fitting title to this daydreamy production. Effervescent instrumentals and potent lyrical narratives, allow Kasbo to capture a rollercoaster of emotions from euphoria to sorrow and accurately capture moments of importance throughout his life.

Frida Sundemo’s vocals feature on “Shut The World Out” and the track really allows you to do so. Her bewitching voice paired with the songs sparkling melodies and transient synths, take you to a place of peace, tranquility and hope. In contrast “Skogsrå” gives a high-energy, dramatic hit to the album but still retains the overall vulnerability of the collection.

An album filled with highs and lows, it builds with energy and then lets it all go. The Making Of A Paracosm encourages escapism and self-reflection, which is seldom overlooked in a heavy, chaotic world. It is cathartic, comforting and uplifting in all it’s layers.
