K.Flay - Don’t Judge A Song By Its Cover LP Vinyl Record (2021 Record Store Day Exclusive)
Pressed on vinyl is K.Flay's rendition of three '90s classics like you've never heard them before. Released in celebration of Record Store Day 2021, "Don't Judge A Song By Its Cover" is a vinyl pressing of the 2020 EP commemorating iconic hits from the 1990s.
Kristine Flaherty, better known as K.Flay, is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. Her debut album "Life as a Dog" peaked on the "Billboard Heatseekers" Albums Chart at No. 2 in 2014, and his since been nominated for two awards at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. "Don't Judge A Song By Its Cover" is a reimagination of Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff", Green Day's "Brain Stew", and The Offspring's "Self Esteem". "I wanted to put these three songs in a totally new context and really expose the vulnerability of the lyrics,” said K.Flay, who intended to celebrate an era that had a huge influence on her career, giving the songs her own brand of cool late night vibe.
