Travel back in time to the Early Permian period and witness this carnivorous Dimetrodon out in the wild! Just don't get too close. Or make your way to Jurassic World to see one in captivity.
WARNING: Finding one in Jurassic World may be equally as dangerous if you end up in its enclosure.
Believed to have been a pelycosaur, one of the animals known as synapsids that dominated the Early Permian period, the Dimetrodon is often mistaken for dinosaurs. However, they died out long before dinosaurs roamed the plains. They more closely resembled modern mammals. The Dimetrodon is believed to have been found in the US, Canada, and European countries. The sail on its back is theorised to have been used as a temperature regulator, instead of a swimming aid.
Measuring approximately 19cm high, this meticulously detailed Statue of the Dimetrodon spares no chance to bring out the intricate details across its sculpt. Everything from the paint applications, textures, and environmental base, to the overall sculpt has been masterfully created to produce only the highest quality of prehistoric recreations. Fans of the roaring Dimetrodon now have the chance to display one as a 1/10th Scale Statue!
What are you waiting for? Order the 1/10th Scale Statue of the prehistoric Dimetrodon from Jurassic World: Dominion online today and add it to your dinosaur collection!
