Who would guess the extinct Elephant Mosquito would become the gateway to the world’s greatest wonder and greatest threat? Encased in amber, this mosquito would drink the blood of dinosaurs, which scientists have extracted for DNA. Frog DNA is used to fill in any gaps to complete the dinosaurs.
This 1:1 life-sized statue features a pedestal for the fossilized Elephant Mosquito to rest on. Engraved at the front bears the Jurassic Park logo, with an engraving of a frog and DNA symbol, a mosquito, and two DNA strands at the back, thus depicting the story of how dinosaurs are brought to life in the iconic film. Running along the edges include some amber tendrils.
