"One of the earliest carnivores, we now know Dilophosaurus is actually poisonus, spitting its venom at its prey, causing blindness and eventually paralysis, allowing the carnivore to eat at its leisure."

After Dennis Nedry turned off the park's security systems, Dilophosaurus was one of the many Dinos that were able to freely roam the island. Notably, one of the juvenilles followed Nedry while he was trying to get his vehicle unstuck, ultimately spraying his face with venom and hitting him straight in the eyes.

Joining Mattel's Amber Collection is the Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park! Appearing in its traditional green, yellow and red tones, the well detailed dino looks highly menacing as it opens its jaws and spreads its neck frills, ready to spray venom over an unsuspecting victom. The figure comes with multiple points of articulation, and can be displayed atop the Amber display stand with or without it's neck frills and venom effect part.
