Pressed on Translucent Blue Coloured Vinyl and released via Anti Fade Records in conjunction with Institute's first-ever Australian tour, this self-titled three-song EP is as essential as anything the Texas punks have released thus far. Lead track The Shooter instantly secures its place among Institute's very best songs.

The EP's other two tracks explore the remote poles of Institute's intensity. A Privilege edges toward hardcore with a jittery rhythm built around a short but infectious loop of lead guitar, while Why Are These Men Still Alive stretches out with a lumbering rhythm.

Formed in Austin, Texas before relocating to New York, Institute emerged from the Texas hardcore scene with a gritty blend of anarcho-punk, glam, and dark post-punk.
