Sweet, sticky, and loud—Yummy! is the Hard-Ons’ sugar-rush pop-punk classic, now reissued on limited burnt orange coloured vinyl. Originally released in 1990, Yummy! became the Hard-Ons’ most commercially successful album and remains a fan favourite to this day. With its psychedelic artwork, fuzz-drenched hooks, and singalong punk anthems like the eternal “Where Did She Come From?”, the album marked a new era of sonic ambition for the band—sharpening their songwriting while keeping that unmistakable, irreverent edge.

As the Sydney trio entered the ‘90s, they embraced a sound that was at once poppier, punkier, and more metal—bridging genres before pop-punk or alt-rock had even hit the mainstream. Yet despite their evolution, they remained proudly grounded: DIY legends from Punchbowl with a uniquely Australian outlook and outsider appeal.

Formed in 1982, the Hard-Ons—Keish de Silva, Peter “Blackie” Black, and Ray Ahn—have long stood at the centre of Australia’s underground scene. Yummy! was their first record to fully showcase their knack for melody and craft, while still packing in the energy and chaos fans had come to expect.
