First released on July 21, 1987, by Geffen Records, 'Appetite For Destruction' received massive commercial success and made Guns N' Roses a household name.

The album topped the Billboard 200 and became the best-selling debut album, as well as the 11th best-selling album in the United States at the time. With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, it is also one of the best-selling records ever.

Although critics were ambivalent toward the album when it was first released, 'Appetite for Destruction' has since received retrospective acclaim and been viewed as one of the greatest albums ever released.

This kick-arse reissue is the first time the album has been remastered from original analog tapes, with the original album expanded to 2LPs for Maximum Audiophile Playback.

Packaged in a metallic outer sleeve of the album's iconic artwork, the actual Lps are housed in a sleeve featuring the original "Appetite for Destruction" painting by Robert Williams. Inside the gatefold is an unreleased band photo, and it comes with two previously unreleased band photo inserts that feature the original lyrics and album notes on the back.

To top it off, Side D features a holographic sketching of the band's logo!
