Gamora is the sole survivor of the alien race called the Zen Whoberis. The Mad Titan Thanos reduced Gamora and trained her in weapons to use against his enemy, Magnus, but made sure she was raised with discipline. After defeated Magnus Gamora became bored and looked for a new purpose in the world. She joined the Guardians of the Galaxy when she felt as though she had no purpose and wanted to do things for the greater good. At first she was not trusted because of her past and training but ultimately proved herself when she risked her life to save her team.
