Bloodhorse! is Grace Cummings' fourth album and her most restless and uncompromising yet. Recorded in two weeks at producer Jonathan Wilson's Topanga Canyon studio, it pushes her trademark sound into darker, stranger places, with shuddering synths, tense strings, woozy grooves, and moments of full-on psychedelia sitting alongside her soulful voice and expressive piano.

Across ten tracks, Cummings swings wildly in tone and texture, moving between oblivion and clarity, dissociation and fierce self-possession, processing abuse, control, fear, and the particular exhaustion of making yourself palatable to the world. From the tearing opener Paradise to the gothic chaos of WITCH! WITCH! WITCH! and the unsettling chills of FAKE, Bloodhorse! is weird, fearless, and occasionally very funny.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Grace Cummings grew up on Bob Dylan, Paul Kelly, and traditional Irish folk music before teaching herself guitar and piano and launching a solo career that has earned international acclaim from Pitchfork, The Guardian, and Rolling Stone. Her live performances crackle with profound tension and emotional release, cementing her reputation as one of Australia's most singular voices.
