This split 7" brings together two artists from opposite sides of the Pacific, united by a shared love of cosmic country and roots music. Freya Josephine Hollick contributes Nobody's No Better Than No One on the A-side, a track that captures her raw, heartfelt songwriting at its most immediate, while Los Angeles outfit Buick 6 deliver Señorita Blvd on the flip.

The pairing came together through Blind Date Records, with the collaboration eventually leading Hollick to record at the legendary Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, a studio owned by Dave Catching of Eagles of Death Metal and home to sessions by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, and Kurt Vile.

Born and raised in Ballarat, Victoria, Freya Josephine Hollick is Australia's Cosmic Country Queen, shaped by her father's record collection and the pioneering spirit of artists like Townes Van Zandt, The Band, and Gene Clark. Buick 6 are a Los Angeles roots rock outfit featuring drummer Butch Norton, guitarist Stuart Mathis, and bassist David Sutton. Together they make Americana magic.
