“U Kin B The Sun” is Frazey Ford’s third studio album, originally released in 2020. Vancouver folk-soul songwriter and singer Frazey Ford is best known as a member of the Be Good Tanyas, who specialized in a blend of old-timey folk, country, and blues. The Be Good Tanyas released a debut album, Blue Horse, in 2001, following it with Chinatown in 2003 and Hello Love in 2006, and garnered high critical praise for both their recorded work and their fun, impressive live performances on the folk and bluegrass circuits.
“U Kin B The Sun” is arguably one of Frazey Ford’s best bodies of work to date, containing some of their most popular songs to date such as “Azad” and “The Kids Are Having None Of It” This album is a must have for any fan of the funk & soul scene.
