Waxwork Records and Watertower Music present the most devoted collector's release for fans of the Evil Dead franchise, pressed on Demonic Inferno coloured vinyl featuring translucent black with heavy fiery orange splatter and housed in a heavyweight gatefold jacket with all-new artwork by Steve Reeves, whose previous work on the Evil Dead Rise soundtrack earned widespread praise.

Evil Dead Burn unleashes the franchise's most savage chapter yet, following a grieving widow who seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home, only to watch them transform one by one into Deadites in a family reunion from hell. Composers Double Danger approached the score as an infection rather than an accompaniment, treating the house itself as a living organism that breathes, groans, and slowly consumes everyone trapped inside. Thirty-three cues push the legacy of Evil Dead somewhere unexpected, brutal, and deeply human, closing with the haunting Paradis featuring vocalist Chilla.

Double Danger are a Paris-based duo of composers and producers Xavier Caux and Douglas Cavanna, who emerged in 2023 and have quickly established themselves as a bold new voice in film scoring.

Popcultcha will only accept returns, process refunds, or exchange goods if we are contacted or notified within 7 days of you receiving the goods at your nominated delivery address. Upon us receiving the notification of damage or a manufacturing issue, we may request photographic evidence of the parcel and/or the particular product that has the issue. We will review this photo and contact you at our earliest convenience to discuss you options in relation to the product issue.
