‘What A Time To Be Alive’ is a mixtape collaboration between Canadian rapper Drake and American Rapper Future and released on September 20 2015. Despite already releasing successful projects in 2015, Drake’s mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” and Future’s album “DS2”, this collaboration had an extremely high amount of hype surrounding it.

With long-time producer for Future and close friend, Metro Boomin brings his brilliance to eight of the eleven tracks while Drake and Future bounce off of each others lyrics which are topically familiar for fans, with relationships and use of drugs being common for the duo. Tracks where both rappers manage to flow perfectly together include “Scholarships”, “Diamonds Dancing”, and “Jumpman” which easily become highlights of the album due to the ability of both Drake and Future to properly ‘team-up’.
