Three years after their iconic debut, the Descendents returned with I Don't Want To Grow Up, originally released on D. Boon and Mike Watt's New Alliance Records. Recorded following vocalist Milo Aukerman's return from college.

The first of two Descendents releases to feature guitarist Ray Cooper, I Don't Want To Grow Up marks a confident step forward for the band, sharpening their pop instincts without sacrificing an ounce of punk energy. Now available on cassette, this is a chance to revisit one of the Descendents' most infectiously joyful records in a gloriously analogue format.

Formed in the late 1970s in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, the Descendants pioneered pop-punk by fusing lightning-fast hardcore with melodic hooks and hyper-personal lyrics about suburban life, coffee, and angst.
