Few punk reunions have delivered with the force of Everything Sucks. Released in 1996 through Epitaph Records, the Descendents' fifth studio album marked the return of singer Milo Aukerman after nearly a decade away pursuing a career in biochemistry.

With the classic lineup reunited, the band picked up right where they left off, delivering a record that crackles with the same irreverent energy and melodic punch that made them legends.Everything Sucks arrived after the remaining members, bassist Karl Alvarez, guitarist Stephen Egerton, and drummer Bill Stevenson, had spent years recording under the name All with a rotating cast of singers.

Formed in the late 1970s in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, the Descendents are widely credited with pioneering pop-punk by fusing hardcore speed with melodic pop sensibilities and lyrics about food, coffee, girls, and suburban angst.
