Originally released in 2010, Rot is the third and final EP from Melbourne underground legends Dad They Broke Me, now reissued on vinyl for the first time. A claustrophobic and unrelenting auditory experience, the five tracks combine unhinged rhythms, animalistic vocals, and searing guitar work into something suffocating, industrial, and brutally alive.

Heavily distorted and abrasive from start to finish, Rot leans hard into noise-rock's most punishing extremes. This is not background listening. It is a record that demands your full attention and rewards it with one of the most viscerally intense releases to emerge from the Australian underground.

Formed in Melbourne in 2005, Dad They Broke Me built a devoted following in the local underground scene through crushing live performances and an uncompromising approach to sludge metal and noisecore.
