“I’m here to commission a humble portrait of myself. You may not know him, but there was a folk hero in my town growing up … he would frequently pose with windblown hair and an open shirt on a horse. I was thinking something like that.”

Sideshow Art Prints presents the Scanlan Shorthalt & Pike Trickfoot: A Humble Portrait Fine Art Print, a magnificent yet entirely modest Critical Role art print by artist Mimimaru (with the help of an unassuming Whitestone craftsman called Jameson).

Following the liberation of Whitestone from the tyrannical rule of the Briarwoods, the joyful Winter’s Crest Festival returns. It is here that Scanlan Shorthalt commissions a humble portrait to commemorate his fearless leadership of the rebellion. This 100% accurate and totally not exaggerated tableau shows Scanlan on the back of a white horse, his hair blowing in the breeze and his shirt wide open. His teammate and close friend Pike Trickfoot is also on the back of the horse, looking super hot with an arm around his waist. The light of dawn breaks over the mountains surrounding Whitestone, giving this incredible scene a dreamy quality — even though it absolutely happened exactly like this.
