Measuring 18” (45.72cm) x 24” (60.96cm), this intricate and striking piece captures the dark and twisted conflicts faced by Death and his Court of the Dead: All of existence is mire in a battle between the equally vile realms of Heaven and Hell. Death and the Underworld are enslaved to harvest the mortal souls that fuel their war, but they yearn for a more noble purpose; to end the war between Heaven and Hell, and restore balance to the universe.
Alex Horley’s real name is Alessandro Orlandelli, and he was born in the small town of Opera in the outskirts of Milan, Italy. He has worked with DC, Marvel, Heavy Metal, Verotik Comics, Wizards of the Coast, Devils Due, Vampirella, the Comic Book Buyers Guide, Rob Zombie and Image Comics - just to name a few. Most recently he formed a production company with his partner and muse Stacy E. Walker and the “Alex Horley” name is now a registered trademark of Blaze Productions Inc. where plans are currently in the works to fully develop his own innovative ideas in the fantasy genre as well as the entertainment arts.
